Professional Career

Cave was drafted by the New York Yankees in the sixth round of the 2011 MLB June Amateur Draft. After progressing through the Yankees minor league system, he made his MLB debut in 2016. In 2018, Cave was traded to the Minnesota Twins, where he spent two seasons before joining the Colorado Rockies in 2021.
