Anthony Nwakaeme and Dickson Nwakaeme Take Break from World Cup

Brothers Take Time Off to Focus on Personal Matters

Anthony and Dickson Nwakaeme, members of the Nigerian national team, are currently taking a break from the World Cup to attend to personal matters.

The brothers, who both play for Al-Fayha FC in Saudi Arabia, were part of the Nigerian squad that qualified for the World Cup in Qatar. However, they have decided to take some time off from the tournament to focus on their personal lives.

Anthony Nwakaeme, who is 34 years old, has been capped 10 times by Nigeria and has scored three goals. He is a versatile player who can play as a forward or a winger.

Dickson Nwakaeme, who is 32 years old, has been capped 15 times by Nigeria and has scored two goals. He is a defender who can play as a centre-back or a full-back.

The Nigerian Football Federation (NFF) has confirmed that the brothers will not be available for the Super Eagles' remaining World Cup matches. The NFF has not disclosed the reasons for their absence, but it is understood that they are dealing with family issues.

The Super Eagles are currently top of Group C after two matches. They will face Argentina in their final group match on Tuesday, June 26.
